Flexible Intermediate Bulk Containers (FIBC)
At Bulk Liquid Solutions, we have the scale to meet the growing demands of today’s industry, offering a wide range of FIBC bags, including Standard FIBC Bags (Type A and Type B) and bespoke solutions for clients worldwide. Our FIBCs are manufactured in our state-of-the-art production facility in compliance with ISO 9001:2015. They are produced using woven polypropylene fabric with polyethylene liners for the safe packaging, handling, storage, and transportation of dry, flowable products. Available in capacities ranging from 250 kg to 2,000 kg, our FIBCs can be customized with different lifting loops/handles, bag constructions such as Circular, Flat and U-Panel, filling and discharge spouts, and up to five-colour printing.
FIBCs offer a highly efficient package-to-product weight ratio, allowing approximately one metric ton of product to be transported with packaging weighing as little as 5–7 lbs (2–3 kg). Integrated lifting loops enable easy handling, transportation and storage without pallets, while the bags can be folded flat when empty, significantly reducing storage and transportation space. Every loop, design and construction is tested to the limit, and FIBCs can be tailored to specific requirements including size, capacity, barrier properties and handling features. The fabric can be flat or tubular, coated or uncoated, while seams can be configured with different sealing bands for standard, high-dust-proof or extremely high dust-proof applications.
Our FIBCs are suitable for a wide range of solid and dry flowable products, including fertilizers, chemicals, minerals and agricultural products. Various filling configurations are available, including open-top, top skirt and filling spouts, along with multiple discharge options. Printing, labelling, document holders and other identification or branding options can also be incorporated. Base configurations include square base, rectangular base, star base, gusset base and bases with discharge options, providing flexible solutions to meet different product-handling and application requirements.
